Pali, my faithful friend and companion for eleven years.

We played and laughed. We slept together, swam together, chased sticks and Frisbees, cuddled and wrestled. She brought happiness to our lives. And she always knew she was the prettiest dog in the whole world.

In my darkest hours, Pali was there. A tender nudge, a cold nose, a warm heart - and the reassuring comfort of unconditional love.

Pali had been struggling for the past year. I believe she held on to make sure her best friend Gelert was ready to look after Carol and me when she was gone.
